Putin helped Proctor and Gamble while in St. Petersburg. His ties to Kissinger and Trump:

“This father/son combo is a powerful force in middle America. John Pepper is frmr CEO of P&G & his son David is Chair of the OH Dem Party. They are respected in state, local, national, and international circles, and I also respected them (from little I know). However,  they both have interesting histories related to Russia, which the public, Congress, and law enforcement should examine more closely. During Cold War (& presumably now too), the FBI & CIA assessed that Soviet active measures work, in part, because the US is an open society. This is very true, but at the same time, maybe information can be used to counter Russian influence campaigns. Lets look @ the Pepper fam. On 8/15/16, D. Pepper releases a new book, ‘The People’s House‘, about the Russians hacking the election feat oligarchs and all. This “political thriller”, released 4 months prior to the election, is available on Amazon.

9. I’m not an expert on the publishing process. Pepper claims he put pens down 7/15 & published on 8/15. Faster turnaround than normal?

10. The publisher – St. Helena Press – doesn’t appear professional. Focuses on “speculative fiction” & est in 2016 Sure, could all be coincidental. Yale grad, 15 yr OH politician, working on this book for 4 years chooses St Helena Press…really?  Well, it looks like the (word press) website is run by a Soviet IT guy specializing in word press. Coincidence?

13. 74 reviews on Amazon to date, all amazing. But majority appear to be Pepper’s close associates. Coincidence? Reviews are from his former staffers, fundraisers, friends, reporters, and even his Dad, Mr. John Pepper, who we’ll turn to next.

17. Pepper is frmr CEO of P&G & broke into the RU market. He’s now retired & back into US-Russo politics via ACEWA. While ACEWA may seem like a friendly non-profit, it quietly spreads the Kremlin line in their behind-the-scenes active measures campaign. Russia uses business people, non-profits, academics to spread propaganda. Here’s how John Pepper implements: Another ex. from J. Pepper. Scroll thru the rest of the ACEWA site to get a sense of their clear agenda. Soviets used “friendship societies” & the like to spread active measures. Looks like ACEWA is a current version  In future posts I’ll look more closely at other NGOs, non-profits, institutes, which act as Soviet fronts. For now, will stick to Pepper.  When looking at the Peppers, important to note their history with Putin dates to 1992 when Putin was Deputy Mayor of St. Petersburg.

 24. What brought everyone together was a P&G/CSIS led group to open the Russian market called the Intl Action Commission for St. Petersburg
 25. This group happened to be chaired by Henry Kissinger, who proved to be a key Putin interlocutor, as described by Fiona Hill.
 26. Kissinger is still a key player to this day. ‘Kissinger, a longtime Putin confidant, sidles up to Trump’.  Trump hosts Russians, Kissinger at White House day after Comey firing. That’s the Peppers/Putin/Kissinger connection and how may still be at play w Trump. Will now turn back to ACEWA. The AECWA Board includes J Pepper, Prof Cohen, VandenHeuvel, father of Katrina (who runs The Nation).  In this Feb 2016 piece, describes the ACEWA/Cohen/Nation/Putin propaganda linkages in solid detail. Plenty of people have covered how Cohen & wife Katrina (Nation) are Putin apologists.  34. Could he now be an “agent”, this time using media via new book? See historical comparison of KGB tactics  You might counter that David is a Dem & anti-RU hacking, so what’s his angle? We know Kremlin plays both sides & spins narratives.  I think the Peppers are the stealth display of playing both sides, w David’s book & John’s friendship society (ACEWA). Soviets used “friendship societies” as part of active measures campaign in the Cold War & RU brought them back. Soviet pol influence ops are designed to cultivate individuals. Actual recruitment not necessary, just coop. Soviet political influence campaigns and active measures not understood by the West.
